His single monitor is bothersome yeah, but his setup in general is more easy on the eyes than constant RGB. Suits his house and also the bookshelf

I think it's very refreshing having such a big youtuber being so chill and grounded like felix, it's one of the reasons why I like him, he's still the same normal guy he has always been

ig pewdiepie's just so clear, beyond clear even, that he went back to basics. YTs just back to being a hobby for him than an actual job

pewdiepie's setup is more personalized and minimal i'd say. he just want the things that he actually use/used. like his decoration is just his gundam he built and the books he has read. 2 monitors that he'll use for recording videos, listening to music and stream sometimes. he has a workout routine which is why his gym is at the back of his setup and his outrageuosly large and expensive speaker(looks fun to have btw) which he probably used for chilling or working out. i mean pewdiepie himself has announced that he is officially retired.

PewDiePie has gone conplesent cause he already has been there done that, and now just wants to upload whatever he wants, he even said himself that he's semi retired and want to step off the drama, limelight and controversies. And i respect that ❤️.

i prefer simons setup out of most yts tbh, and his background just looks so nice, pewds setup idea is rly nice i usually like more calm white aesthetic but his room looks odd, its like unfinished or something missing but at the same time too much going on in the the room like gym+setup etc in a small space)

I do prefer Pewds, but, mainly the aesthetic (i wouldn't have his type of bookshelf in the back) but i love the "comfy" feeling books give in backgrounds, i dunno, maybe just me. But i agree, i need at least two proper monitors.

You are right If I had pewdiepies set up Id just add one more monitor but yeahs his definitely better, the background is more cozy and not all over the place, better cable management, and the extra desk room is nice for some like work and other things.

Okay, been reading a lot of comments, some of which I disagree, but here's my take on this: Simon's set up is pretty darn impressive and clean unlike most "gamer" set ups out there to be fair. His room feels clean and minimalistic even though there's way too many things on the background which is hard to achieve. The led lights are well arranged that it's not too annoying to look at, I can tell that it's been thoughtfully and carefully placed and planned. But I would still prefer felix's gaming set up room for the reasons you might not expect. Whenever I'm playing whole day, I wanted to look away from my monitor from time to time to relax my eyes. If my room is full of led lights design, my eyes won't get the relaxation it needs because practically I'd feel like I'm still looking on my monitor. Well it's hard to explain why I'd feel that way, but I guess it has something to do with how my brain perceived "gaming" in both pc and room design. See, I don't feel relaxed whenever I tried to look away from my screen knowing that my room is filled with glow in the dark lights. Rooms like felix's are really what my eyes need whenever I feel like my eyes need some 15 minutes rest from both work and gaming. Basically, my point is I'd like my room to be more useful to me than just putting up pointless make up on it and feel proud for a few weeks until I get unsatisfied again, doing this cycle of redesigning my room every few months, more or less.

i personally love the minimalistic sort of calm set up, just because I feel like if you spend a lot of time in front of a screen it'd be nicer for your environment to be serene and not as vibrant. cuz it might be easier on the eyes idk

If you ask me, Simon has the best setup out of the SDMN and one the best in the YouTube community.
Simon's background is cozy and pleasing to the eye with the lighting being perfectly "relaxed"

I think Felix has said a couple times before that he basically just uses dumbbells squat rack and bench when working out, which tbf is all you really need

Well in terms of aesthetic and uniqueness, I'd choose Pewds' setup lol. But Simon's setup feels more 'fun' and 'enjoyable to be in, probably because of all the gaming potential lol.

I belive Felix said multiple times that he's basically in retirement and he makes videos because he likes to do them and will continue to do them in foreseeable future. But he won't bother with stuff like algorythms, schedules and other stuff that YouTubers do.

In short - this kinda explains why his setup is so simplistic
