Walk like an Egyptian: Painting an undead mummy figure

To go along with issue 85 of Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy, which has a theme looking at monsters of myth and legend, I decided to paint an old-school evil mummy! This one definitely has an 80's metal vibe going as well!

If you are interested in checking out the latest issue of Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy, you can find more here:

You can also download a FREE PDF with a scenario for Lovecraftian-style horror in the jungle from our website:

The model is by Wargames Foundry (under their Casting Room Miniatures line) and available here:

Thanks for the tips! I have a regiment of mummies to paint and this will really help to make them look good!

Very nice, you seem to have more fun on the fantasy models.

If you like Eddie from Iron Maiden, check out the sculpt by Mike Swisstack. Cthulugizzard on Etsy. I have 2!

Instead of holding your hand behind the figure, when giving us a closer look at it. Why not hold a white card, or something similar behind the figure?

What do you do with the figures you paint for this channel after your done painting them? Do you ever use them in actual games or are they more decoration around your office/ house?
