Was it an ACP? It seems like the guard applied the brakes. The ACP distress signal, 2 short 1 long is sounded almost immediately as soon as the LP sees the BP falling even before the train has come to a halt. No ACP horn was sounded or did I miss it?

Separate tracks should be laid for goods/ freight carrying trains from passenger train tracks. Slowly discourage goods carrying in trucks, by road on long distance.
