It's been a very long time since I've done one of these somewhat loosely formatted videos as the result of raising the bar a little bit for videos in the last few years, but felt a loose format would fit this particular subject. Here, I perform an upgrade to a somewhat cut-down (Revision 2.0) Asus VL-I486SV2GX4 motherboard as well as doing a PSU repair to a Compaq Deskpro 386e- perhaps showing my (poor) electronic and some machining abilities.

Quite unusual that I've been able to make two videos for the year as opposed to just one especially considering my apparent condition and possibly the result of undergoing a regression for fitting in with work lately. But then why should some random stranger care for the well being of some random Asian who vaguely speaks English properly in the first place?

I just learned about you. Sharing your stuff with everybody, hoping you come back with the stuff you made for ps1

The thing about metal working is there aren't really any hard rules, you just do what works. The screw is most likely steel and therefore harder than aluminum, so it is a perfectly valid tap in this application. The most important thing here is that it works.
Also, curse that FIC board. A piece of junk indeed.

Hope you get better. Wouldn't ASP on NT be security issue also? Data breach liabilities? ;) I'd be more willing to communicate with an IRC/XMPP server on it, though.
