Never would I have thought back in the 5th grade of 1998 that there would be professional commentary going on during a Pokémon game.

I wanted the winner's team to have these 3 things:
-Not feature Zacian
-Not feature ice Calyrex
-Feature a non legendary I really like, for example Gastrodon

After Day 1 I wanted James to win because he had all those 3 and because I really liked his surprise Shadow Claw Groudon, it reminded me of those Dragon Claw Groudons when the meta had really strong dragon types dominating.

I stopped doing online battles a long time ago when everyone was just using the same pokemon. It looks more diverse now but not sure. But honestly this makes me want to get back into it for Scarlet/Violet.

A possibly unpopular opinion: Ban legendaries from competitive tournaments. I am tired of seeing Groudon and Kyogre wherever I look, and now we have Zacian. Mega's, Z-moves and Dynamax are enough powerhouses, no need for unbalanced legendaries anymore.
