Writing Process and the writers workshop

I would like to start by stating that writing should not be seen as a step-by-step stage-bound but a linear, recursive process. In my blog post that this video accompanies, I aim to highlight how we can support student choice and voice in the writers' workshop. We examine the role of Mentor texts and mini-lessons in order to gain an understanding of how w,hat, and why the this framework supports our students.
