The hand does belong to midas. Due to the loop, it wouldn't matter if kado cut off midas hand in the past. When the loop restarts, his hand would return fully intact.

I think when midas and kado thorne fought, midas touched kado, and made him turn into gold. And therefor he chopped his hand off before his whole body became gold. We know kado is a vampire, and they can regenerate their own bodies. So i think the hand belongs to kado thorne, and he chopped it off in a desperate attempt to not be fullt gold and die

During the downtime for the season, there was a leak that said they will be bringing back the chrome guns and there is an unreleased spray in the files still with Midas’s hand that has chrome on it. His hand is also in Kado thorns volt.

Here’s how I know he’s not dead: in the season the new “Midas drum gun” is actually Jules drum gun because when you kill someone with it it says “with Jules drum gun” in the kill feed so if Midas “died” in the trailer of chapter 2 season 3 how would Jules drum gun have turned golden, cause the Jules boss didn’t have a all gold drum gun, so Midas had to have turned it gold somehow.

I personally believe that the hand belongs to that scraped shadow Midas skin and that Kado thorn went back in time and cut it of and the ghost shadow powers grew the had back but purple

There is a skin in the leaked surveys that is Midas with robot arms so that might be the after math if Kado taking his hand
