I saw this movie on the day my friend passed. When it came to this song it made me think of her and all the fun we had together. It helped me to not be sad because it reminded me that she is no longer in any pain and that she has finally gone home to her husband and father who she has missed for so long.

Caught this song on the CW series Walker Independence. Haunting, to say the least....but when I heard "....oe'r Jordan..." my heart skipped. I named my son Jordan....after the river of Christ's baptism. He died at age 25, 14 years ago. My whole family is waiting for my Mom and I to join them there.... our last home.
