Villisca Axe Murder House EVP - 'Girl Screams' APRA Paranormal

Audio Data (EVP) collected by APRA on April 21st, 2009 at the Villisca Axe Murder House in Villisca, Iowa.

The most disturbing audio data collected by the American Paranormal Research Association during a paranormal investigation of the J.B. Moore Family home was the screams of what seemed to be young girls.

It's not scary, just really sad to think that a whole family had to go through that and then have their house turned into a tourist attraction years later while they are stuck here on earth.

This has to be Lena...she was the only person in the whole house to wake up and attempt to fight back, she was found crosswise on the bed with her night gown up to her waist and her underwear off. She had defense wounds as well. That is the only logical explanation for this audio... #chills

Sad thing is, the murder still haunts the attic in which he hid till the household was fast asleep. Many are too afraid to stay in the attic to find out what he was going through right before he murdered the family and the children's friends. Or they just don't want to fight him to get the answers as to who he was in the first place. This case is still among the unsolved.

Honestly, I hear 2 people screaming. I don't know if it's two girls or one of the girls and the youngest boy. That's the creepiest thing I've ever heard!

Sounds a bit like a death echo which is horrific if we make the assumption that it is one of the children. Their spirits are going to relive that terror over and over until eternity. So sad. :(

These are energy imprints...you can get these from the living & dead, I’ve seen it firsthand. These evp’s can be of anyone who ever lived in the house, even if they are still alive. I know there were at least two other children who grew up in that house, besides the family who was murdered. Also, there are evp’s of other families who lived there, it is recorded in the atmosphere & just replays on different frequencies & at certain atmospheric conditions.

That was very disturbing and sad. It also sounds like there may be faint voices in the audio too. Good evidence but, like I said, disturbing.

I happen to know a kind of disturbing detail... The murder picked a raw slab of bacon out of the fridge that night, and the grease from the bacon could have been used either to cover up his scent which would make it harder for the dogs to track him, or as a lubricant.. People speculate if or not Lena Stillinger was molested before she was murdered, which makes this even freakier..

If you go to the Villisca axe murder website it says that photos of one of the girl's pupils indicated that she was awake when she was murdered and the only one to be awake. I wonder if this is her?

What I don’t understand is how none of the neighbors heard her screaming the night of the murders? The guy who lives or lived in the neighbor’s house, the neighbor that noticed the family wasn’t out doing chores the next morning, he said that even with his television and fans on he can hear visitors of the murder house talking. So how did no one hear the desperate screaming from Lena the night she was killed?

omg that gave me chills it makes me want to cry. for some reason it makes me think its that of Lena because theories say the way her body was positioned makes it look like she was awake during her attack

@ZacHansonRhythm i have also heard that theories say the way Lena's body lay after the attack that possibly she was awake during her attack and tried to fight off the attacker so it could possibly be her screaming
