When I first saw this I got teary eyed. Jesse was so loyal to Walt and Walt fucked with him so much and he knows it too.

This is probably the sweetest moment in the entire series.

You could tell that that meant everything to Walt. He was so touched.

This look in Walters eyes, made this scene one of mine favorite from whole series. He understood that even after so many things he did to Jesse, after all of their fights and pointing guns at each others heads, he gave him a birthday present. Something what his closest family didn't do for him, because i might be wrong, i watched series long time ago, but i think that he was expecting some party from family, but they just invited Hank and his wife and Skyler jumped into swimmingpool, so like after the worst birthday party ever, person who wanted to kill him many times, was only one who cared about him in his day. Sorry for my English, i'm sure that I made many mistakes, but i hope you got the point of my comment

He got more love than he did in his past. Walt felt such a belonging to the underworld. Beautiful.

Poor Jesse, all Walt did to him was to manipulate him to gain more power for himself.

Man if only Jesse knew this was the best present Walt got for his 51 birthday. And the fact that Walt would continue to wear the watch shows how much it meant to him.

I think Walt almost feels bad here. He has been manipulating Jesse throughout this entire series. Even after all that, after all the pain he caused him, he still got him a really nice present for his birthday. That’s why Hank was right when he told Jesse “he cares about you, like he doesn’t want to lose you.”
