Look at Mexico 112 murdered politicians just this year, El Salvador is total Chaos, Venezuela is in financial ruin all of these countries are in political and financial failure and crime is out of control, When you vote socialism this is what comes with it. You take away dreams and prosperity in exchange for spreading the wealth and pretending every thing is equal. There is nothing equal about life. There are many who work hard to make a better way and there are many who will not work and will take advantage of any system so they never have to work. This is what is wrong with socialism if everyone thought, worked and commitment was the same then it might work but the reality is you can't get rid of crime, greet and selfishness. Socialism will NEVER work in America. You will discourage the hard workers to reward the lazy. There are those that I believe all societies should help, so don't confuse my meaning.
