The Flanker is the closest man has come to out-doing nature herself. From ANY angle it's beautiful, but one of my favourites is in direct profile - I've christened it the "leaping fish". This shape creates lift - the designers weren't the first to realise an aircraft didn't have to be a pointed tube with wings on it, but no-one else has realised this wing-and-fuselage-as-one shape. It's just stunning, a masterpiece above all others, I never tire of looking at it.

Love this clip man! Great footage. I am an enthusiast of American Jet fighters, but I am equally an enthusiast of other nations fighters, primarily Russian fighters. I enjoy watching these jets, like the SU-27 with it's variable-geometry exhaust nozzles that, unlike the F-22 Raptor can rotate it's nozzles in a full circle where'as the raptor's nozzles move only up or down. I absolutely LOVE the shape and design of the MIG 29 and the SU-27, along with the SU-31 and the MIG 25 Foxbat. And yes, Russian fighters are supreme on maneuverability, and all this beings these jets have mostly conventional flight systems like the MIG 29 with it's electro-mechanical and conventional hydraulic flight control systems. I absolutely love watching the SU-27's "Cobra Maneuver". I have not ever seen any other jet fighter perform such a fantastic and exhiliarating flight maneuver. Totally awesome. And the fact that these jets (MIG 29) produces such thick black exhaust from the RD-33 engines is icing on the cake. Fast loud jets, look more awesome the darker the smoke, LoL. (F-4 Phantom). Love the MIGS! Great video.
