Cpl. David Perez Medina, a fire support specialist assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 5th Battalion, 25th Field Artillery Regiment, returned to Fort Polk, Louisiana, from Fort Benning, Georgia, this past March, as a new member of the Patriot Ranger family. My youngest son graduated yesterday.... 62 days of Hell for a lifetime of bragging rights.. Wear that tab like Armor... Rangers Lead the Way!!!!

My Pops did 2 tours in Vietnam with the 82nd Airborne Division and decided to make a career out of it. He then went to Ranger School several years later and retired as one after 20 straight years of service, and his closest 82nd buddy went on to serve in the Delta Force before dying a few years ago from cancer.

For those of you watching because you want to go. YOU CAN DO THIS. But you need to show up prepared and with the right mindset. Ranger School is a marathon, not a sprint. And it will take real GRIT in order to get your Tab. 👍
