How dishonest can you get?
The speaker said:
_"So even Stephen J Gould admitted _*_that racism exploded, _*_ you know, after Darwin's ideas ... er... the acceptance of evolutionary theory."_
Seconds before, the following quote from Stephen J Gould was on screen, and the speaker read it out loud:
*_"Biological arguments for racism_*_ may have been common before 1859, but they increased by orders of magnitude following the acceptance of evolutionary theory."_

What are we to think? Is the speaker really so dumb that he does not understand the difference between *_"biological arguments for racism"_* and *_"racism"?_* Or is the speaker dishonest and is he betting on the gullibility of his audience to not notice or simply not care about the difference?
And what about the interviewer? What is his job if not to keep his guest honest? Or is he in on the scam?

Of course as usual in creationist materials, this quote from Gould is just a silly quotemine. Not two sentences after, Gould states: _"But the data were worthless. We never had, and still do not have, any unambiguous data on the innate mental capacities of different human groups - a meaningless notion anyway since environments cannot be standardized."_

I think creationist apologists do their community a great disservice with dishonest content like this. Your kids will remember this, and when they get to high school or college and find out you have been pulling the wool over their eyes like this, they will start to question all you have told them, the bad and the good.
