I'm part of a Scion Xb/Xa Facebook group. We have several members with in excess of 400, 000 miles on their original engines. If the engine oil is changed every 5, 000 miles these things run damn near forever

My wife has one and I have one. Both 2006. Hers has 334, 000 and mine is at 261, 000. I would buy one with 800, 000 on it. They just run with no issues!

My 2005 Toyota has over 300K miles on it, driven every day.
Spark plugs were changed twice. Oil changed four times per year, spring, summer, winter, fall.

All belts & hoses replaced at least once.

Family member had one, original engine and trans at 430k miles, still ran like a champ! you cant kill these at all.

That is crazy to junk this car. Do you know how many millions of people in this country can not afford a car to go to work or to school. This would be a good car for a teenager. Give this car to someone for free!

The NZ1 engine and drivetrain on xBs are SUPER reliable. Mine has 230, 000 and I've just had to replace one of the wheel bearings.

Id buy it for a winter car. Im sure someone with not a lot of money would also like it for a daily driver. I hate when people throw out things that are still good 😂.. drives me crazy
