The Corps of Engineers forms part of the federal response, led by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, to aid Alabama in the recovery. COL John Pilot, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Recovery Field Office Commander, talks about the destruction and the people who are on site to help. USACE has several missions including debris removal and temporary housing.
