One of the reasons the Sonics team got sold n left to OKC in the first place was because nobody wanted to chip in (taxes) to upgrade the old Key Arena, Chris Hansen came along years later and offered to not only build a fresh one in SODO by the other sports venues but also just turn Key Arena into strictly an event center, and then Seattle back peddles the last minute and decides to build it in the busiest area of the city. I'm all for the sports entertainment, but man what a headache it's gonna be 🤦🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️😂
