Just set a timer, and turn your phone around like we did in the early 2010s. Hell back then I don't even think most phones had a timer on the camera. Just point, shoot, and hope you got a good angle.

As of current I still prefer the hole punch, I am happy with my S10, but as soon as this gets better I'd be happy to switch, hopefully samsung works on it more with their newer phones like the folds

This makes sense for the galaxy flip - the front camera is hidden and useful for things like video calling where image quality is bottlenecked by internet bandwidth anyway, and you can use the back camera for clear selfies.

Now they just need to put it in the middle of the screen, image how much more personal video calls are, how you can see your picture while you take it and no notch is looks sooo good

Honestly, Asus got it right with ZenFone. Literally just flips the back camera to the front when needed. Ultimate quality front camera, no notch, no under-screen problems.

Wish I had gotten that one instead of my OnePlus 7 pro, but this one had a decent solution too.

They could have placed the camera on the part of the screen where you look at yourself when you take a selfie. Also makes "eye-contact effect" when you're on a video call.
