Bambu Lab Slicer for Beginners - How to Use Bambu Studio

The program that’s used to 3D print for Bambu Lab printers is Bambu Studio. First start by downloading the program and installing. When you first open up Bambu Studio, it will walk you through the printer setup guide to connect to your 3D printer. You can navigate to the user interface within Bambu Studio. You can first choose to open up the print marketplace, open an existing project or create a new project.

If you choose to go to the 3D print marketplace, you can scroll through thousands of items to 3D print. Once you have found an item you want to print, click on Open in Bambu Studio. This will allow you to directly have that file open and load into Bambu Studio for you to edit and print.

Once your print is loaded into Bambu Studio, start by going down the tabs on the left hand side. Make sure you have to correct printer selected. Ensure the print plate that it has chosen is the same as yours. Choose which types of filament and colors you want your print to be printed in. Also take a good look at what types of supports your print calls out for. You can also increase the size and scaling of your print using the scale button in the top right hand corner in Bambu Studio.

Once your print is ready to be sent to the printer, click on the print button in the top right hand corner. This will open up a pop up that that has you double check which printer type before sending to the printer. Ensure everything is correct and send the file off to the printer to be printed.

Ive been looking a neat basic video of how to do this prior to my first bambu arriving. This has been the clearest and most straightforward video I have found. Plus, it's easily 1/3 the length.

I have printed a couple of items so far & just learning that I can add multiple items to a print is handy, as some things I would like to print multiples of (bag handles for example)

At 2:15 under the Button "process" you see "0, 2...X1C". Thats the same what i see on my bambu studio although i have a P1S. The list In the dropdown is ...X1C only. Is that normal? How can i change that?
