The BKC TK122 tandem kayak is 12’ 8” long and 34” wide. It weighs 74 lbs and has a capacity of 770 lbs.

The BKC TK122 front is a deep V that slices through the water, then hits to a flat bottom which is extremely easy to maneuver and very easy to paddle.

The BKC TK122 tandem kayak can accommodate 1, 2, or 3 riders depending on what you plan for your kayaking adventure.

The front has a built-in carry handle for easy transporting and a small flat deck for a small child or dog. There is a convenient built-in cup holder directly next to the small deck.

There are three-step molded in foot rests to accommodate riders of all sizes.

The BKC TK122 tandem kayak has four kayak accessory mounts for additional desired kayak accessories. It also has two large rectangle hatches – each hatch includes inserts and full access to the inside of the kayak to store larger items such as rods and paddles. The hatch lids secure and are water tight.

The BKC TK122 tandem kayak has eight scuppers for easy self-draining. There are additional D-ring mounts for items such as paddle keepers or anchor cleats.

The aluminum upright kayak seat featured on this video is extremely adjustable to your comfort level and locks into place to secure the seat while you’re fishing or kayaking. The BKC TK122 tandem kayak comes with two paddle parks on each side. They work by placing the paddle inside the bungee and lock into place. Rear cupholder for your rear passenger/rider along with a water-tight storage hatch with additional D-rings for the rider to use.

The rear of the BKC TK122 tandem kayak has flush-mounted rod holders, two articulating rod holders, additional storage to fit the BKC 20 liter cooler with a bungee tie-down system – or a milk crate for another rider. The durable rear T-handle and drain plug when you want to drain any inside water.

Been out a couple of times with this kayak. Added a PVC rod holder setup that holds 7 rods(2 for trolling) plus 2 more on the accessory rails that hold fly rods. Stable enough to stand up in while using my 9' fly rods or any other rods in decent conditions. I use it solo while seated in the rear of the kayak and have no issues. I place a large "Okeechobee Fats Fisherman Deluxe Tackle Bag" where the front seat should go to hold all of my fly and spin/bait caster gear with more than enough room for a decent sized cooler in the far forward position. I also place a milk crate behind the rear seat under the PVC rod holders. I rigged an anchor trolley with paracord and nickel plated "O" rings. Even with my kayak cart(heavy, 38" wide, 5/8" all thread axle inside 1" drilled square tubing inside 1 1/4" PVC, 10" wheels) hanging off the back just behind the milk crate the kayak stays very level in the water. An excellent fishing kayak, in fact I would say its the pickup truck of kayaks.

I ordered this, and it came in about 4 weeks, which is great. The one thing that I wasn't aware of is that the seats are shipped from a different facility and I am still waiting on those. I'm excited to use this, but I am waiting for the seats to arrive.

I noticed in the comments several people saying the seats doesn't fit. Has this issue been resolved? I was ready to order until I read those comments.

If you pay extra for the aluminum seats, be advised that they do not fit into the grooves on the kayak. The frame of the seat is not wide enough. There is a design flaw with the kayak or with the seat.

We just got ours, amazing kayak, quick question, i noticed it has a soft bottom which side would you recommend to put down when transporting it on a car roof racks?, also would you recommend the kayak carts that go in the scupper plugs?, some people recommend them but others say it may damage the holes if they are not reinforced, thanks

I ordered and received one of these kayaks. Haven’t gotten on the water yet but hope to soon. Question, at the very back of the kayak, what are the threaded inserts for? Mounting a trolling motor or maybe a rudder system? Do you have any documentation for it?

When two people carry the Kayak with the side handles it isn’t balanced and it tilts heavy to the back end. Nothing is in the Kayak to add extra weight. How is that remedied?

Just got mine delivered in Jan. 2021 ... looks pretty solid. That said Unlike other Kayak makers ... BKC does NOT have pre molded in Horizontal Thread holes to mount other mounting plates etc. I had to Physically cut a hole into a Brand New Kayak to mount my Micro Power Pole wireless Anchor Pole system. There shipping company is a Joke imo as well . Total E Commerce company ... so good luck actually talking to an actual Person with questions etc.

How does this kayak maneuver if only 1 single passenger? Have heard that 2 person kayak can be difficult. Need 2 person kayak, but will need it to be functional for 1 person also.
