METAXA & THE CLUMSIES - EXPLORE GREECE

Показать описание
[WERBUNG] In 2018 METAXA & The Clumsies Athens, the 7th best bar in the world, embarked on a journey to EXPLORE GREECE. In a series of unique experiences across the Cyclades, the collaboration paid tribute to Greece in an unforgettable sailing exploration of Mykonos, Paros and Antiparos.
This year, the adventure continues. METAXA & The Clumsies sail to Crete for a total seduction of the senses.
EXPLORING CRETE a feast for the senses
Step foot on Crete and embark on a sensorial journey through wild gorges, breathtaking mountain backdrops and white-sand beaches.
Marrying influences from the East and West, the island is representative of a vibrant cross-cultural mix left behind by the colonizing Venetians and Byzantines.
It was here that the Mythical tale of Theseus and the Minotaur played out. Wind through the narrow alleyways of Chania and Rethymno and step into your very own Cretan maze dotted with crumbling castles, a symbol of the island’s rich history, second only to its gastronomy.
Whether its rosemary spiked snails, a simple Dakos salad or a sampling of local Graviera cheese, Crete’s diversity of dishes has led to a thriving food scene. That’s partly down to the produce on the island being perfected since the time of the ancients. Its olive oil is one of the purest in the world, while its wine tradition dates back over 4000 years.
“Cretan hospitality” is as abundant and generous as its expansive landscape. While the island’s traditions are distinct, rich in folk music and age-old dances, the locals are always happy to share these, eager to transpose some of the magic of the island to its visitors.
Hmmm! Schmackofatzo
