Use Javik and Kaidan... Dark Channel + Reave + Warp... better biotic explosions. Also, Warps and Reaves can stack on top of themselves as well as each other. after you have 2 reaves, two warps, and a dark channel doing continuing damage, provided the 3 explosions did not kill your enemy, it wont last much longer.

just finished this level (without dying once!!!) but damn, you are so much more efficient at taking banshees down. And i have to constantly pause the game with the power wheel to regain my bearings. Ah well.

In my case, I can't bypass, or avert Banshee's barrier,  even with warp, or reave (she won't get primed for biotic explosion no matter what). Is there any trick to it?

I'm playing on Insanity as an Adept also, but my Warp power doesn't recharge anywhere near as fast as yours does, so I cannot easily just keep on bombarding them with warp like you do. Is there a way to increase your power regeneration speed like you have?

Try playing an Adept on PC w/o pausing the game so much. I personally go for Liara / Javik for maximum crowd control and burst biotics, I've imported my level 30 Shepherd from ME2 so I can't complain on lacking points to begin with.
