Here's an amazing fact, to do with "Carrie" (1976).

"Carrie" is iconic in every respect, from its begining to its end. The tragic story of an abused outcast teenager with telekinesis taking revenge on her high school prom struck a major cord with viewers, but director Brian De Palma had one final trick up his sleeve to terrify even Stephen King himself. To film Sue Snell's nightmare scene, actress Amy Irving walked and moved backwards, and reverse motion was used to give the illusion of her walking forwards. When Carrie grabs Sue's arm, that really was Sissy Spacek buried under the stones. Even with the book it was based on being a best seller, Stephen King was doubtful that the film would work, and only gained his confidence when he and his wife attended a screening with a completely black audience. Two men sat in front of them screamed their lungs out and grabbed each other at the ending.

The original artwork for the Genie in Disney's Aladdin, he was going to be purple and wore a turban. They decided later that all the good guys would wear blue and the bad guys red, so the Genie was redrawn as blue.

Robin Williams made it clear to Disney producers that he did not want to have the genie in the marketing of the movie of Aladdin. But they broke that agreement so Robin Williams had like a lawsuit as well as did not work for them for some years because of it.

Wow, I did see the skull on the moth's back. I never saw the women forming said skull. 🤪

The Crow:
The most iconic scene: the first look at The Crow makeup in the window with lightning... was not Brandon Lee. Early CGI took the face from an unused scene to paste on the body double.

That body double fell in love with fight choreography while filming scenes to make-up for the tragic loss of Brandon Lee. He fell so in love with it, he went on to study film making and directed a little film series called... John Wick.

In Kubrick's The Shining, Nicholson had worked as a volunteer fire marshal and tore it apart far too easily. The props department was then forced to build a stronger door.

You'd think after all of the issues that Spielberg had with Bruce during Jaws, he'd never use another mechanical monster (Tyrannosaurus Rex) with any kind of water (rain)!!!! Brave and genius man!

Last fact i had to cry because it reminded of of nightline news the day he passed away and they played his line “you’ll always be a prince to me” from the movie. We all still miss you Robin wish you were still here making us laugh

I see Tarantino as an imaginative man living in his own world hyping the untold stories of the nitty-gritty. I might not share his values but I can't help but admire and respect his art.

Since you guys mentioned the T-Rex from jurassic park, here's another fun fact. The roar of the T-Rex was also used in avatar along with the sound from the velociraptors

Wrong on the cat /godfather….
Yes the cat was a stray, but it was never intentionally put in Brandos lap, the cat just jumped in his lap and they kept it in the movie

My favorite little known movie fact is about the Peter Sellers film 'Being There'. Sellers had said his entire career up to that point had merely been training for that movie. 6 months after the film's completion Sellers died of a heart condition, at just 54 years of age.

The T-Rex in the 1st Jurassic park had a malfunction as they were filing in the rain, and that's why it smashed through the car sunroof, and that is the kids' real reaction.
