From what I read the locals in Rhode Island were able to track down his newly purchased estate and it was even on the news. So that may have prompted it but take that with a grain of salt. I’m mostly wondering why AYG wouldn’t just edit the details of his housing situation out of the episode.

They did edit something out... Something they found very disturbing. They decided to let the episode play out but after a few days decided to take it down to completely distance themselves from Rife because the allegations and scandal that is about to drop on Rife. Source: LA Comedy Scene.

During the episode I was thinking that dedicated people could probably easily find out the estate he's talking about and I was slightly surprised they aired it with all that information in there so this makes sense to me. I guess this'll be a learning experience for him...
