Dual Pixel Autofocus Vs Manual On Canon C100, which do you think is better ?

I have the C100 Mark II and one thing I've noticed is that sometimes it can hunt for focus, even if nothing in the frame is moving. I do use your trick of allowing it to set focus initially using autofocus, then flipping the switch to manual when I'm happy with it. About the only time I leave it in autofocus full time is when I'm trying to film myself. Of course, besides the three Canon lenses I have for it, I have an adapter for Nikon lenses so I can use the ones that I use with my DSLR's. But those don't autofocus on the Canon.
