World of Warships- Wargaming Keeps Adding In The Wrong Ship

Hey guys, today we take a look at some new ships announced for 11.7 that include a Fletcher......but not, THAT Fletcher.

The last Fletcher in service, BAM Cuitlahuac (ex-John Rodgers), left the Mexican navy in 2001. that's an impressive service record for a ship class.

Johnston should have improved accuracy on its guns, improved heal, and evans should have improved adrenaline rush and last stand

The Fletcher class destroyer was arguably one of the most prolific and successful classes ever produced. Nearly 200 of them were produced during WW2 alone. Many of them served with distinction. I will never object to more Fletchers being added to the game.

First Greek ship finally coming to the game but I am still waiting for Yavuz (which is the longest serving battlecruiser/dreadnought type ship) with AA refit model or original model

I know that it is strange, but I would be happy if WG added the original pre-dreadnought Slava. The ship was the only Bododino class battleship of Russia, to be not sunken during the russo-japanese wars. She survived into WW1, where during an engagemet she held up several modern german dreadnoughts despite under heavy fire from them. She survived the battle, but was later scutlled by her own crew, since she cloud not make it back to Kronshtadt due to battle damage. Since we only have Mikasa as a pre-dreadnought in this game, she could be also put into tier 2, so Mikasa would finally not be the sole BB down there.

Vallejo isn't JUST a miniature paint...it's actually named after...and I think developed by (not to sure on that one)...a famous fantasy painter Boris Vallejo you've probably seen his art pieces on fantasy book covers. Both him and Frank Frazetta we're pretty much the 'fantasy and metal album cover artists of the 80s'.

If they do add Johnston, they should give it a conqueror heal in respect to its sheer dogged survivability.

Malta dont needed the US lessons in the pazific the Uk was at Okinawa and Iwo Jima too, -) not that it was any factor in making the maltas. Maltas were just not making the compromise that the Ark royal and Illistorious classes had to do that was chose between large flight groups OR armored Flight decks due to Tonage restrictions. (that is flight group without deck parking. You can try to run a Essex in the north atlantic and north sea and see how long it takes till your deckpark become breeding grounds for fishes.)

the problem with Johnston is that it will be just another "Fletcher" for sure, unless WG made it so much different and ahistorical, what we should get is real different take on an already available ships and the cold war variant, typically modded quite extensively, do made for a case I shall say

And I suppose if we should be asking, then why are we not also getting and had IJN Hatsuzuki, or the Royal Navy Glowworm, or might be even IJN Hibiki in Soviet service as VMF Верный, and most if not all, IJN Yukikaze in ROC NAVY service as ROCS Dan Yang

There were many many famous ships that fight gallant battles during their time, but this is in the end a game if all we had is having Copy Paste clone again and again, or just WG's awful retake and retake on the same ship but with lousy mod and not really giving something extra or different then we might as well not had it

We've got a half-dozen Premium Japanese 203mm/8in cruisers, but no 155mm cruisers. Why? The Mogamis were Brooklyns before the Brooklyn.

Everybody says Johnston cant be balanced for its superheal, extra enemy dispersion and all the buffs but it can be balanced by HELM JAMS STRAIGHT AT FIRST ENEMY BB/YAMATO SPOTTED.

the Johnston at t10 with a better heal and maybe French hull survivability would be a great ship.

They could have done like literally the same thing as the Velos, but move it down to T8 as the USS Laffey (The Benson-class one)
