Some points on the books author, Chris Shores, it is by a noted researcher and author of many books on the Typhoon and Tempest, who is also a regular poster on Britmodeller.


From the flick through, ALL the kit options are shown as photo and profile.


some points, the chap on the wing tip, is there to guide the plane on the ground, due to difficulty seeing out the cockpit when taxiing. Commonly seen practice on many WW2 types.


The black/yellow underside are not 'prototypes' but standard markings for target towing planes, as still seen on the Mk.V at Hendon. This is what the Tempest finished up doing in the early 50's.


Eduard are dong the full suite of aftermarket bits, including engine and gun bays.
