In full: Keir Starmer faces Kemi Badenoch at PMQs

Sir Keir Starmer is facing Kemi Badenoch at Prime Minister’s Questions as Westminster continues to be dominated by the Southport attack and the state of the economy.

The Prime Minister delivered a press conference yesterday morning as he confirmed the Government was launching a public inquiry into what happened in Southport which will examine the state’s failure to stop killer Axel Rudakubana.

The Tories have repeatedly accused the Government of showing a lack of transparency in the days after the murders and Mrs Badenoch could opt to focus on the issue as she grills the premier.

Meanwhile, Rachel Reeves is in Davos, Switzerland, as she attends the World Economic Forum where she will be hoping to drum up fresh investment for the UK.
