Today we installed GCam on the Realme X to see if we could further improve the already excellent cameras on this new midranger that has taken the Indain smartphone market by storm.

Do make sure that once you install it on your realme x you go on and switch on advance settings from the settings menu and dial in the HDR values, they are a bit wonky at the time of installation.

Coming right down to the camera hardware, we have a 48MP primary camera on the Realme X. It is the IMX 586 sensor that we have been seeing in most flagship devices in 2019. That is paired with a f1.7 aperture lens and as for the secondary camera, we have a 5MP depth sensor. As far as front firing shooters go, we have a 16MP motorised pop up selfie cameras with f2.0 lens on the Realme X.
