I had the 2020 Terrain Denali with the 2.0L engine. It was actually really fun to drive. 252HP, 3500lb towing capacity. It was fast and lots of torque for quick acceleration. I would have bought another one this year if they still sold them with that engine. 175HP and 1500lb towing isn’t enough for me

Soon they will have a 60 inch TV in the cars. a time we live in.

175hp 203 torque? In 2024 😢 The VW Tiguan got a lot of criticism in 2018 for having 184hp 221 torque, why other brands don’t get the same criticism for the lack of power?🤷🏽‍♂️

1.5L 3 cylinder turbo on a vehicle this size, what could go wrong...

GMC nailed the design as it looks like an updated 2010-2017 box styling of the past. The engine is lackluster for the price in my opinion. The terrain always had better rear seats then the competition. The engine is what will keep me from not upgrading my 2011. Lackluster towing numbers too.

I really like the external design language of GMC vehicles recently. Not a huge fan of iPad-like infotainment screens though. They look like an afterthought. I don't understand reveals like this that don't include pricing.

Andre. Thank you for presenting this new vehicle. If GM is watching, I think it would be could to ask, why, ? on some of this stuff, hopefully GM is paying attention to the comments. Seems like reinventing some of the old reliability would be welcomed. You guys have a tough job sometimes. Thank you for the content. ❤ TFL

I don't know why people can't let people like whatever car brand they like.

GMC's website says 1.5L Turbo 4-cylinder engine, not a 3-cylinder, for the terrain.

$30K is just too much for the headache that this car will be down the road. I have a 2020 Yukon that is just problematic at 80K, and my favorite dealership has just gone to $h*t in the past couple of years as well.

They need to stop with the 3 cylinder bull shit just like ford nobody wants them thats why the dealer lots are full of them 32 grand for a motor that small ...just keep them 4 cylinder !!

Sorry Andre, but you are incorrect. The 1.5 is a 4 banger.

Does the front seat fold flat like the previous model?

You should start popping up cost to replace when those displays go out. That center display I bet is 5k.

Perfect, that 3 cyl engine should be good for about 50k miles and the bigger the screens the less u think about the actual quality of the cars.

I have a 2023 Terrain Denali. It’s actually a very good vehicle, it could just use another 20HP. This upgraded model has added some really nice features.

Not a fan of that vertical desktop monitor mounted on the center console. Imagine how often we get into our vehicles while carrying bags to place onto the passenger seat. It won’t take long before that screen gets all scratched up.

Content Creator has INCORRECT information for powertrain. This is directly from the GMC Website "The Next Generation Terrain packs a powerfully efficient turbocharged punch with the standard 1.5L Turbo 4-cylinder engine"

did they get their infotainment screen from the mach-e?

I paid $1500 for a GMC Envoy XL. V6, body on frame, simple and easy to fix. I prefer that.
