LEAVE THE FOUNTAINS ALONE!! They are my favorite place in Vegas!

No pirate show, no volcano, when the fountains go they’ll be no reason to go to the strip.

We go to Vegas every year or two…because we have the ability to rent a beautiful suite at the Bellagio - where all my honey likes to do is sit in the room, read a book, have a drink and watch the fountains. It’s his time of peace in a crazy world…and I love that he enjoys it so much! My fun comes from wandering the town and enjoying everything! 50 years together..our system still works!!💕

Over 20 years ago, those fountains were my favorite part of Vegas, and they still are! Every time, I have to see the fountains, stroll the Bellagio conservatory, and have a meal on the property. I have been known to even play the occasional slot machine (a rare thing for me) as a way of thanking the Bellagio for having such a wonderful destination property.

SW was the best ever for Vegas. He brought "class" to the city. The fountains is "class". Old yes, but still classy. The guys in black shirts once owned the city, but now corporations. For them only the bottomline. Hope they keep the fountains and thank you SW.

Good to see your analysis work again. You do a great job bringing in the historical clips to put everything in perspective. Thank you for the time spent working on this.

The Fountains will always be my favorite. I have 20 years of fountain photos and videos and to this day—-it never gets old.💙
Also, the fountains in front of the Wynn would go on and change color to songs. The past few times I haven’t seen those working.

Went down to the fountains on my last night on the strip just a few days ago. The fountains brought tears to my eyes because they are so beautiful. Same with the O show a couple days earlier. I don't see them going anywhere soon... Cheers Steven

I love watching Bellagio fountains. We always have the fountain view from our Cosmopolitan room. Awesome!

There’s a fine line between Las Vegas reinventing itself and Las Vegas killing itself. I feel it has now crossed that fine line. I used to live there. I used to visit several times a year, going all the way back to the early 90’s. I don’t go there anymore and to me, that not only speaks volumes, it also saddens me beyond words as, for the greater part of my life, Las Vegas was my favorite place in the world.

Great work and I really liked seeing your footage of the fountains reopening. I remember going several times when Vegas reopened because here in Cali everything was closed but I still had to work. I'd even hit Reno for a night to use the gym for two days a week. I forget how much I hated it here in Cali during covid lockdowns.

Vegas continues to shoot itself in the foot. Between absurdly high resort fees, new hotels trying to capture the high end crowd, totally forgetting about the middle income tourist(looking at you FB and RW) and more boring shopping malls being built on the strip every year I’m just wondering if it’s worth coming back anymore.

My first Vegas trip was in 1998, before Bellagio opened. I was there for the implosion of the Aladdin. We went back in 2000, and Wow, all the new things! I love the fountains! I will be so upset if we lose them.

I love the fountains. When I was there earlier this August, I requested a room facing the fountains

The fountains always attracted me the last two times I was there. I would be sad if it's gone.

Business thinking is, if you can't monetize it, why have it?
