The inflation rate rose by 7.75%, and the poverty rate climbed by 1.76%. Immigration surged by 14.7%, while the U.S. national debt expanded by 40.43%. The trade deficit grew to $679 billion. The U.S. economy shed 2.9 million jobs, with 202, 543 of those jobs being off shored, and 1, 800 factories shutting down.
