At least as it pertains to my current full-time YouTuber existence. Life is interesting, man.

LGR Foods lives here by the way, haha:

Illusion ruined. Lazy game reviews isn't lazy at all! He's a hard working dedicated person who has a huge passion for what he does!

This video really speaks to me. Working 60-80 hours a week on videos for my own channel can feel like I do nothing else sometimes. It's way more work to do what you and I do than most people realize. That said, you've INSPIRED ME to get the hell out of the house more... I think I'm going to start that immediately :)

I just love how a channel with "Lazy" in the name is possibly one of the least lazy content-producers to which I'm subscribed.

The only illusion that was ruined for me is that your reviews aren't actually Lazy!

Love getting some behind the scenes of LGR. You're being a sort of pioneer here... There's nowhere with a recipe for exactly how to do this and yet you've found structure that works for both you and your job.

Clint, one of my viewers introduced me to your channel and I am so glad they did. I know this video is a few years old but I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your passion and honesty. There's so much I can say, as a fan of old and unusual toys and electronics, but the part about managing home and work life really hit hard with me.
It's what I'm wrestling with now as YouTube is turning into a full-time job for me. Your sage advice is invaluable.

The freelance struggle is real. Pros: "you work from home!" Cons: "your home is now your workplace".

There are a lot of resources out there if someone is struggling with this. I particularly recommend the "Clients From Hell" podcast, they have some very poignant episodes on balancing different aspects of the freelance life style.

I think that the reason so many people thought you were filming all of your videos in your house (myself included), is because you have been using very natural-looking lighting. Most of your videos seem to be lit by sunlight through an open window. It's actually rather soothing.

My dad passed away Sunday afternoon... Don't mean to sound corny, but binge watching your videos has really helped me to get through such a terrible week. Thanks so much for all you do!

Your points are things we ALL need to remember, in any kind of profession! Mental health and self care should be our primary focus. We wouldn't have your excellent videos without that care. Thanks for reminding us! Keep being awesome!

I love that your channel, despite high viewership, remains highly intimate and you make it seem like you're nonchalantly giving in depth explanations and thoughts to a close friend or something. You are highly appreciated, fam. Keep on keeping on. Thank you for yet another interesting video.

As someone who has been self-employed and worked from home, you're being totally smart about this. I'm glad you're finding a good work-home life balance. Working from home/being self-employed can be a lot more difficult than most people think. I'm glad you're still able to do what you love without burning out on it, cause it totally sucks when something goes from a beloved passion to a chore.

I've been watching your channel for a few years now and I've been enjoying watching you grow as a person and as a YouTuber. I'm so glad your channel has taken off because you are one of the few "gamer YouTubers" (for lack of a better term) I've found who actually gets into the history of the franchises and companies rather than just the lore of the games, and I absolutely love your Oddware series! Your reviews are always fun to watch and you've reviewed several games from my childhood that I haven't seen anyone else talk about, which is awesome! I especially loved when you put Doom on a calculator and rigged HDMI on a black and white TV.

Your genuine passion for what you do is a large part of what kept me subscribed for so long. You're the perfect combination of interesting, fun, funny, and "nerdy"/smart. I wish you even more good fortune in the future! <3

P.S. If you haven't already heard of it, look up "1974 Baldwin fun machine organ." My friends and I from college had a blast with that thing. (whispers: It's wood grain.)

His genuineness is infectious. I would love more vids like these :) The last 20 seconds or so really made me relate/laugh/smile. Thanks for making my Monday morning better and thanks for everything that you do LGR!
