I am glad to know that I am not the only one not understanding the reaction on this video. God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He never changes and he doesn’t move away from us. We, as very flawed humans, do move away from God. We are never consistent in anything. That’s why we need Jesus.

I think his reaction is supposed to be “why are you attacking me this early in the morning?” Because this is actually pretty sound. God doesn’t move or change or stop loving you. If we feel distant from Him, it’s literally because we changed and stopped talking to Him on our end of the relationship. I know I’m reiterating what she said but I’m pretty sure it’s not meant to be a “ew bad theology” reaction but a “stop attacking me with the truth” reaction. I’m sure he could have done better with the reaction. 😅
