the way he just casually comes out of the elevator as soon as you're about to call it during your first encounter is such an amazingly well crafted event that has an undescribable quality to it

SCP-049 seems kind of nice, since they revamped its document they give it a lot more background and have audio to go with it. In the case when it killed Dr. Hamm the resulting interview it showed regret in its choice, and also appears that it does have normal conversations with people it doesn't sense the 'pestilence' in.
