It's more that practicing against Los Ratones would be useless and wasted practice for the LEC teams. Los Ratones play in an unconventional way with Baus and none of what they learn from that practice would be applicable for other LEC teams they face.

I think part of it may have to do with Pro play getting comfortable. You’re not expecting people to do absolutely crazy moves, you’re expecting sane moves, from sane players. But Baus is not a fan of sane moves. And that scares them. Baus preforms well calculated but still insane moves and gets benefits from it.

Baussi sounds like he's yoking but by skills alone they can actually sweep the bottom-tier LEC teams. LR is actually stacked with 3 ex-LEC members (1 World Champion and 1 World Finalist). Baussi smells their fears. 😅

The first mistake LEC teams are doing is avoiding scrimms. They care more abt their image compared to winning, and losing lost them all their images they tried so hard to maintain lol

Neme said why and he’s right. Baus play style is so unique that any LEC teams who scrim them will be useless practice. Unless they can play in the LEC, its a loose loose situation for LEC and for us fans

whether or not theyd actually stand a chance against established tier 0 teams would depend heavily on the meta and the team's ability to NOT get snowballed on.


but i will say. most of them are absolutely LEC level individually. and the more practice they put in, the better the team does look. Baus is on an absolute TEAR atm, vjela might be the secret MVP of the team, and neme/crownie are still mad talented.

rekless is the glue that holds them all together with his support playstyle and his support of the team as a whole in and out of the game.

i know they wanna bootcamp and scrim vs teams from LCK/LPL, and i hope that does happen before or during MSI (first stand seems too soon esp with velja's visa issues)

baus and velja may be rookies who havent done much (if any) pro play before this year, but they absorb and adapt to knowledge at a scary level. thats becoming more and more apparent the more experience they gain as a team.

LEC teams have nothing to gain from Scimming LR, you want to practice against teams u r gonna play, rather than a hyped nlc team

I wrote on pedro peepos reddit that they would be top 6 LEC before EUMA and got like -40 doenvotes. I said that 3 high regarded, experienced ex pros, Velija and wildcard Baus is a perfect brew for it. I stand by my point, cosistnecy might be an issue but they have what is needed and Caedrel knows it :)

Previous LEC players, Baus was a sub for g2 at one point, given their comms they can definitely take a win from any LEC team if yall saying they'll be sweeper by g2, fnatic or any team without a win is just unrealistic

dont know, they can have a chance against low lec teams, but the top 4? I really doubt.

I understand that Baus is confident LR can win against some LEC teams, but at the end of the day, if they beat LR they beat a non major region team, if they lose, they are the laugh of the whole league and considering scrims are usually really volatile and not as serious as real games, the chance of the LEC team losing is higher, but also there is no benefit to the LEC team, since outside of maybe laning against Nemesis in mid or maybe 2vs2 in bot, but for the Toplaner of the LEC team it would be a waste of time, since Baus is too unique and does stuff not a single toplaner does, so its no point in laning against him after he starts proxying

I think people dont understand just how big the gap between T1 and T2 are, SK who are bottom 2 in the LEC have been absolutely destroying T2 teams and SK isn't even a team known to be good in scrims, so no they aren't scared they probably just dont see much merrit in having their scrims public just to face a T2 team
