I pray for my future wife I pray that she prioritizes her relationship with God above all else I pray that He becomes her #1 love and only #1 love I pray she allows Him to be seated on the throne of her heart that nothing below this earth on this earth or beyond this earth ever takes His spot and whatever vies for that spot that she cries out and calls out to God for help to place them in their proper spots I pray that she becomes the woman God called her to be a woman of faith of prayer and of obedience that she be prepared to become that amazing wife I know she will be as well as the outstanding mother I know she'll be and when she is ready and I'm ready we begin that relationship that flourishes into a God fearing God centered marriage and have beautiful beautiful children we can dedicate to the Lord Jesus Christ training them up in His ways on God's perfect timing I'll have the courage to ask her out

I dunno if I agree with this one.

If course God wants us to love and be interested in our spouse.

But that leaves out the part of surrender. If God put someone you're not interested in and told both of you "that's your wife/husband", would you rebel against the Lord?

Our God is unpredictable. I'm sure Hosea never had in mind to marry the prostitute God told him to marry.

Besides, even in biblical times, arranged marriages were common. I believe it should be the same in Christianity with marriages arranged by our Heavenly Father.
