Foods like instant noodles, sauces and cooking oil could soon be graded according to how much sodium and saturated fat they contain. This system will be similar to Nutri-Grade labels for sugar and saturated fat in drinks, which was implemented in December 2022. Dr Kalpana Bhaskaran, president of the Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association, and Head of the Glycemic Index Research at Temasek Polytechnic, discussed the effectiveness of Nutri-Grade labels.

This is forcing manufacturers to mess with their recipe and affect the taste for sure. Will bland food be the future here?

Less sweet is a joke. Less sweet & normal sweet actually no difference. Can we have something like super less sweet?

It is really grade? Its a type of vitamin then should be fact? It looks like that as "natural guess"(due to language barrier: guessing into correct is nice?). Maybe if really grade: health(muscle logo: even skinny have it) then like that is nicer?
