Nah I prefer it this way tbh, I've grown up playing adventure games like Skyrim with all the stuff you've just included but I've actually found elden rings way of handling things much more enjoyable

As a serious take I really wish the Elden Ring was a bit more stylish, especially the fact witnessing previous fromsoft soulsborne that actually have really good-looking healthbars that looks actually stylish and not overly simple, also fromsoft why do you have to change your pause menu to something bland.
And honestly Dark Souls 1 menu one of my favorite especially it looks a lot more colorful and the menu sounds is quite that delight to listen to when you're selecting stuff.
Truly I am afraid of this generation of gaming losing their touch of sound design and menus, like I hope someone brings that back.

There is actually nothing wrong with the shit you just need a reason to complain. 10 playthroughs in and never had an issue
