This is great an really helps, but can you do it in the reverse? Start with I=1/2 M (R1^2+R2^) and get to I=MR^2. Thx

The only thing that keeps tripping me up is how/why you went from the initial Vol (which is what made sense) to the dV=(circum) (thick) (height) deal... 🤔?? I mean, can we end up a the same place keeping the original Vol equation??
