There are so many factual errors in this segment that I don't know where to start. First of all, flux is not used as a magical glue of some sort, it is used to clean and remove any residue just prior to soldering. When flux is applied and heated, it evaporates itself and any residue left on a pad, so that the parts that are supposed to be soldered achieve what is known as "good wetting", as described in the IPC standards. Wetting is just a fancy word for how good the solderpaste / wire flows and melts. Not every circuit is washed after soldering, as most fluxtypes come in a "no clean" version. The second error is the process of silkscreen printing. The paste is, again, not glue whatsoever, but a mix of lead, tin and flux, or silver/tin/copper with flux if RoHS standards are implemented into the manufacturing process. The paste needs to be heated to around 260 Celcius to melt and have any holding effect, and not 360 degrees as stated. At 360 degrees, the SMD components would melt together with the PCB, essentially producing garbage, as most if not all SMD components, and that include large BGA chips are rated at a maximum temperature of 265 Celcius for a couple of seconds at most. Therefore, a soldering oven typically has a minimum of 3 sones: preheating, soldering and cooling.
