I'm sure my mom felt that and chose to go when she did. She passed in her bed next to me after I fell asleep next to her. I woke up and she was just gone. I now realize that she chose to go.

That's really comforting to know, and a great reason for not having contact. My mother dies 31 years ago and my dad 9 months later. they both died suddenly, but both had a tough time in life. They probably thought sod that, I'm off out of here. about 10 years after my mum died, having had a child of my own, I got a smack on my rump and I instantly know it was mum. It's happened 4 times since then but then nothing. I see spirit on occasions with no rhyme or reason for it when it happens, but I have never seen my folks.
