I really like those tanks. Not over groomed. This is something i learned...leave it alone. The fish are healthy and things regulate by themselves. Thanks for the tour!

I love Biotope tanks. It is very hard to create a biotope so hats off to anybody attempting it. Jeff Michael is obviously on top of his game on this. The fish look happy and relaxed as you say. Great job Jeff Michael and Jason and Eli.

This is for me the ultimate fish tour. It changed to way i keep my tanks. Leaving the back glass uncleaned in some of my tanks and no more overcleaning. Fish seem to interact with the environment and do well. Who needs a background when you can grow a natural one. I also grow algae under control on some rocks. Actually quite pretty. Thank you for sharing

Love the natural look. Nature is rarely a pristine environment. Cheers to Aquatic Clarity Fish Room.

I love those tanks.. Nothing beats the natural look. I love also how the Angelfish were wild types as well as the discus.

Wow! Thank your son for that b-roll on the one tank. I could watch that Geophagus - Angel - Discus tank for hours and hours.

Great video Jason!! You're so right about a "non-spotless" tank being perfect for the fish! If you're keeping a beautifully pristine aquascaped tank, that's great! You just have to be honest with yourself, that's about the plants, not about the fish. Sure the fish can survive, but it's not their natural habitat. If you look at any of these fishes natural habitats, they are NOT spotless

S American fish end to be my favorite. I really enjoyed these tanks for their natural appearance and low tech filtration. I had never thought of Geophagus being kept with Discus, but that was a really great combination to see in the tank. Thanks for this fun video.

I grew up near a creek that drained a forest and adjoining marsh. The creek supported rainbow trout. Where the current was slow, there was muck over a foot deep in places. Any of the rocks under water were covered with algae or biofilm. As long as the water quality is good, there's lots of beneficial organisms in mulm and biofilm.

Haha, that's pretty funny. When I saw the title I thought we were gonna see a fish room where everything was exceptionally "clean" and clear LOL. "Not spotless" indeed :D

Amazing! Thank you for taking the time to really view the tanks on display. I LOVE Geophagus as I own several Sveni myself so I really enjoyed seeing those... but some of the other fish like the Ikari were brilliantly colored... very unique looking fish... makes me want some for myself! Thank you again for taking the time instead of rushing through so many tanks. I wish I could go and visit this fish store myself as I agree that letting nature take its course is so much better for fish health! Thank you again!! Keep up the great work! Love you channel!

I have 1 tank, it's a joy in progress. I don't stress on over cleaning. Love the look of these tanks

Those tanks are great! My 50gal tank looks something like those here. Certainly the fish are not "flying" like you'd see in crystal clear water tanks. However, my fish are healthy and happy, the water params are near perfect. I'm going for a natural look in that tank so there is only absolutely necessary maintenance happening. Sort of like in a national park.
I'd never film it and put it online, the hate would be brutal.
It's good to see that I'm not the only one doing it that way. Sort of like a snapshot of a riverbed in your home.
Thanks for the video and all my love to the shop featured!
