If only such things were allowed... would be hilarious if you had situations where you could surprise opponents with “specific means” to take them down that’s hidden in a package (or it just be mind games).

The rules are the rules and if the creators of the rules forgot to put the 'not nets'-rule in, so Imo the judges can't all that sudden stop the match and decide against somebody who knocked out his opponent by being smart. That's unfair.
After checking the rules they should have let the fight continue but they didn't. They arranged a rematch with updated rules which was closely won by Ghost-Raptor who most likely had lost the first fight.
And to make things worse they didn't give Complete Control one of the 4 wildcards that allows you to move into the next round, even though the fight was close → that's a shame.

I'm new here, I just read the 2020 design rules and they seem pretty strict. This was legal? If so, I don't see why people are mad - again, the rules seem to outlaw a LOT. If they didn't break a rule, you can't blame them for creativity
