That was very fast for what it is! I can’t wait to see a drag race between this saw and Milwaukee’s brand new top handle chainsaw!

Just got the Hart 40V 16in. Very impressed - tired of gas mess, engine stalls, and endless pull starts!

Nice! Being that it's a top-handled saw, it's made for arborists while elevated at dangerous heights. Seems it should have an electric brake. 🤔

Yeah Clint, I went from echo gas powered chain saw and now have owned a 14" 40 volt, 10" pole saw and an 8" one plus oil less limber. They work just fine and have held up, helping to fell over 50 trees here in Puerto Rico. Not forgetting their usefulness after storm for debris cleanups when gas stations are closed in the area 🚫⛽... 🪵🪚🌴

Just bought the 14 inch, out of the box just add bar oil and it’s ready to go, got fed up with babying gas motor. Great for around the house stuff.

How many times would it cut that before it dies?

I use a corded craftsman to notch 6x6 for decks and porches so much faster and easier to manage than the pole saw circular saw attachment

Looks promising, my old Ryobi 18v 10” chainsaw works far better than it’s diminutive size would suggest. Just keep the chain sharp !

From my experience, battery powered chainsaws are best suited for trimming or delimbing, maybe a small tree.

Ive used the 40v 18" to cut down a tree. Its powerful, but went through two 4ah like nothing. Definitely need corded or gas for a job that big.

Seems like if does the same job as a 18v ryobi
I'd bet it's got more power where it counts and the battery last longer
But I won't be upgrading to 40v ryobi any time soon

Clint it’s real nas like but no dog?!
Can you even put one one?

“Spike bumper” for those who don’t know.

BTW top hand are comfortable to use. I don’t think DeWalt make one so until then my gas echo is a BEAST. If you guys are looking for the lightest and most powerful saw for the size I can dig up model number ya! It’s an echo something lol

Since I’ve been on the Ryobi 40v line for about 10yrs now this looks real nice like to add to my chainsaw line. For a Ryobi 40v chainsaw how does it feel in the hands?
