The racebox pro is less than half the price, comes with internal gps and does 10x as much as this does and also offers an external optional gps for free

The external GPS receiver does not seem very elegant. I don't like the idea of a cable running out a window. I wonder if they could have engineered an stronger receiver that was self contained within the unit. Am I misunderstanding something in this products design?
