TCL 20S in 2023 - Still Worth it?

TCL’s budget minded 20S was released nearly 2 years ago - how well does it hold up today? Well it holds up decently and has come down in price if you’re looking for a used one. It may not be worth it with a plethora of new budget devices with similar specs and even used mid-range & flagships that offer better performance and features.

One disappointment with some of TCL’s budget devices - a lack of updates that were promised. The 20S should have gotten 1 major update and security patch updates for 2 years, unfortunately it only received a few security patches and may never see Android 12.
