Wow, they really took the scenic route this season. So much could have been condensed. Their favorite line was, “I don’t know.” The story has so much potential but they draw everything out it gets a little boring. I fasted forwarded through some scenes and didn’t miss a thing. I hope season 3, if there is one will be more to the point.

Whoever was in charge of the direction of this season needs to be fired IMMEDIATELY!!!! This season was one of the biggest bores/waste of time I’ve ever seen in my life. It completely ruined the momentum the first season had. Terrible plot, unnecessary weird relationships, Unlikeable characters, and long boring drawn out dialogue that led absolutely NOWHERE. The ending made it even worse with an underwhelming cliffhanger that made zero sense. I mean it’s almost like the writers of this season deliberately spat in the face of the first. APPLE TV DO BETTER BECAUSE THAT WAS HOT DOGSHIT.

Lemme describe a scene from this season. Three characters. The main asian girl, a psychologist, and a tech billionaire. They have an alien ship in their possession. Asian girl has been going into the ship, communicating with whatever this is. The psychologist is worried about her well being. Not wanting her to go back in. What do you think the tech billionaire, whos in charge, says? Do you think he is also worried, and doesnt want asian girl continuing? Or do you think he doesnt care about anything aside from making progress with the alien tech? If you think its the former youve never seen tv. If you knew it was the latter, do you think its because he is super concerned with saving earth? Or that he doesnt care about people at all, and is just feeding his own curiosity? If you know its the latter i would congratulate you, but your prize is the same predictable, boring tv youve seen a million times. There are no winners here.
