Speeding up Drupal 7 on Centos 6 with Memcache APC and some modules

This is a video showing how to speed up a Drupal website by changing various settings and installing some modules. I have used the cgroups feature in the kernel to slow down the webserver, to try to simulate it running on older hardware, or a slow VPS. The early speedups are dramatic, but the methods used in the later part of the video,did not seem to have any effect, so I will be doing another recording to see how some other website testing tools get on with the extra modules that are installed.
