Professor Unger, the work of many post Keynesian economists today are showing us that federal spending is not dependent nor funded by federal taxes. Public revenue is irrelevant rather what matters is the capacity of available real resources. Unleashing quality public spending is a way of decommodifying finance and investment. Respectfully, I support the vision of the modern monetary theorists to substitute a proton of the reasoning for the points that make up the new progressive path forward

So professor from the point you make at 6:10 regarding the government obligation to its people, do you think that the government should be obligated to provide free healthcare by shifting the budget from military spending to healthcare for all?

I can't imagine what you think about the current administration regarding anything to do with the normative.

Where has Professor Unger been during this entire campaign. Does the word "shill' come to mind? We are in a crisis situation, and Johnny-Come-Lately has all of this sage advice to offer the masses.
